PJBUMI Waste Management was incorporated on 23 April 1994 with a name of Aeration Job Sdn Bhd. The main business is providing solid waste collection and area cleansing services for Alam Flora Sdn Bhd and currently owns 15% equity stake in Alam Flora. PJBUMI Waste’s stake in Alam Flora has placed the company in strategic position to reap the potential benefits of the passage of the Solid Waste Management Bill. The Bill will formalise Alam Flora’s status as concessionaire of the Solid Waste Privatisation Scheme where the responsibility of solid waste management lies with Alam Flora solely.
